Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer, the Baal Shem Tov
Jewish · a complete life in three volumes

Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer, the Baal Shem Tov

A village innkeeper healed with herbs and psalms, and lit a fire that warmed all of Eastern Europe.

The free book is A Seat at His Fire: a complete book, yours to keep. Not a sample, and never Volume I.

Not a file. A room of your own.

This is the room itself, not a picture of it: the free book, open. Turn the type, change the light, let the voice read while the page follows, keep your place. Your library holds the whole of it.

The arc of the life

Three books, one life. A Seat at His Fire is the first meeting: a complete book, free, that brings you to Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer, the Baal Shem Tov before you walk the whole way. Then the walk itself, in the three movements every Sacred Life keeps. The Orphan of Heaven holds the early life. The Name That Healed the World holds the works and ministry. A Flame That Has No End holds the enduring teaching. Each book keeps its stretch of the road; together they are the whole life.

All three volumes are narrated in full.
